A law firm seeks an experienced and dedicated attorney to join its Private Wealth Planning practice in Atlanta, GA. This position offers the chance to work on complex estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters while collaborating with nationally recognized attorneys and leaders in the field. Duties:

  • Draft and develop legal instruments such as wills, revocable living trusts, property agreements, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, and insurance trusts.
  • Create private foundations, family limited partnerships, and limited liability companies tailored to client needs.
  • Provide legal guidance on wealth transfer strategies between generations, including advising business owners on entity selection, buy/sell agreements, and management succession planning.
  • Counsel trustees, executors, and beneficiaries on interpreting legal documents, addressing tax matters, and resolving disputes between fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
  • Assist clients with probate administration and post-mortem administration of living trusts.
  • Prepare estate and gift tax returns and advise clients on minimizing tax liabilities.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Proven ability to work on complex and unique legal matters.
  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, respect, inclusivity, and professional excellence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for advising clients and resolving disputes.
