Location:

Duties:

  • Collaborate with paralegals and senior partners to manage family law cases efficiently.
  • Analyze client situations to develop strategic action plans that address their legal issues.
  • Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, handling cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders.
  • Provide clients with guidance and support through complex family law matters.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Georgia family law.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly in emotionally charged situations.
  • Proven experience in drafting motions, pleadings, and orders.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of cases and effectively work with clients.
  • Proficient in creating child support worksheets, parenting plans, and other family law documentation.
  • Familiarity with Georgia rules of evidence and courtroom procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
