Attorney needed for Irvine office

A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a skilled Attorney to join their team, specializing in workers' compensation law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and negotiating on behalf of clients. Experience in workers' compensation defense litigation and risk management is a plus. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and remotely, and a deep understanding of labor and employment law.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and client recommendations.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in various legal proceedings.
• Handle workers' compensation law cases, including drafting and filing necessary legal documents.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for defending clients against workers' compensation claims.
• Manage case files and ensure timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and related regulations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law, labor and employment law, and general legal principles.
• Proven experience in providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and negotiating on behalf of clients.
• Experience in workers' compensation defense litigation and risk management is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
