Duties:

  • Representing bank and non-bank lenders in finance-related transactions.
  • Handling matters related to commercial real estate or secondary-market finance.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documents and financial contracts.
  • Advising clients on finance-related legal strategies and risk management.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding finance and real estate transactions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional legal teams on various financial projects.
  • Engaging in strategic planning and client development efforts within the finance sector.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of meaningful finance law experience.
  • Demonstrated experience representing lenders in commercial real estate or secondary-market finance is preferred.
  • Admitted to the GA State Bar.
  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials are expected.

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
