Duties:

  • Represent clients during the 341 meeting of creditors and other necessary court hearings
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the case process
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and other filings necessary for bankruptcy proceedings
  • Work closely with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for case preparation
  • Ensure compliance with all bankruptcy laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the firm’s team to ensure seamless case management

Requirements:

  • Experience in consumer bankruptcy law is preferred, but not required (training will be provided to the right candidate)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
  • Comfort working in a hybrid work environment, with both remote and in-office responsibilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida, in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about consumer bankruptcy law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
