Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare responses to discovery requests and manage the production of documents.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery-related events while providing detailed reports.
  • Negotiate settlements, obtain necessary authority, and prepare cases for trial as required.
  • Maintain consistent communication with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn case management software and databases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
