Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join its growing Real Estate practice in Towson, Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of skilled attorneys, providing legal counsel to regional and national clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling real estate transactions and a strong ability to navigate complex legal issues.

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing
  • Provide legal counsel on commercial real estate development and land use issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents
  • Conduct due diligence, title examinations, and risk assessments for real estate transactions
  • Advise clients on general business governance and commercial transactions, if applicable
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure client goals are met efficiently
  • Maintain and develop client relationships with a high level of professionalism

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of substantive transactional real estate experience
  • Experience with general business governance or commercial transactions is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced legal environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Maryland

Skills:

  • Expertise in real estate law, contract negotiation, and property transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for client interactions and negotiations
