A law firm in Tucson, AZ, seeks a skilled Transactional Attorney fluent in Spanish to handle cross-border business transactions between the United States and Mexico. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm's growth by delivering exceptional legal services and fostering client relationships.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and negotiate complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate formations.
  • Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, contracts, and agreements in both English and Spanish.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance issues, and regulatory matters affecting cross-border operations.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments for international business transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide strategic legal advice and solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona, or eligibility to obtain admission within one year of hire.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience practicing law with a focus on business transactions.
  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong analytical, negotiating, and drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence and maintaining high professional standards.
