The role offers administrative and business support, including client intake, marketing, and collections, to reduce the workload and allow attorneys to focus on practicing law and client care.

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, and spousal support cases.
  • Provide compassionate, ethical, and empathetic legal services to clients.
  • Co-counsel on cases, working closely with the firm’s support team to ensure effective client care and case management.
  • Ensure all legal filings and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress and next steps.
  • Participate in legal strategy meetings and collaborate with other legal professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload with a focus on efficiency and quality legal representation.

Requirements:

  • An active member in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law, with a proven track record of managing diverse cases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with a high-volume caseload and capable of managing significant administrative responsibilities.
  • Proficient with limited scope representation (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to providing clients with exceptional legal services during critical life events.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and unrestricted license to practice law in California.
