Although this is a remote position, occasional travel for depositions is required.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury and wrongful death defense cases.
• Adhere to stringent court deadlines, local rules, and court-specific procedures.
• Prepare legal documentation, pleadings, and motions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals for case preparation.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to support case progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work within strict deadlines and court-specific requirements.
• Proficiency in remote legal practices, with adaptability to in-person requirements when necessary.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
