Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases, ranging in complexity.
• Open new files and develop comprehensive litigation plans.
• Conduct discovery, prepare legal documents, and make court appearances.
• Interact with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California Bar is in good standing.
• A solid academic background with at least 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation defense, either at a large or small firm.
• Proven ability to handle a full caseload and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License.

• Strong understanding of California workers’ compensation law.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
