Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm specializing in civil litigation and business transactions is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for its Denver, CO office. The firm focuses on tort litigation, products liability, construction and commercial litigation, employment law, and general business law. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of litigation experience, with a current Colorado license. Licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is an added advantage. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, depositions, and hearings
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal matters
• Stay informed on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation and business law
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation cases

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
• Current Colorado law license
• Licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is a plus
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and practices
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license with the Colorado Bar Association
• Additional licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska (preferred but not required)
