Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its new Denver office. The firm specializes in first-party insurance claims with a primary focus on property damage and is expanding its operations into Colorado. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with 3-5 years of experience in property damage claims, strong analytical skills, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in first-party property insurance claims, managing cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.
• Provide expert legal advice and develop effective case strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements:

• Must reside within commuting distance of Denver, Colorado.
• Active member of the Colorado Bar Association.
• Demonstrated experience in handling first-party property insurance claims.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must provide three professional references.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
