Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney for their Sacramento office with the following responsibilities:

Duties:

• Conducting legal research and analysis related to tax matters.
• Drafting legal documents, including memoranda, agreements, and opinions.
• Assisting senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.
• Collaborating with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.
• Interacting with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials on tax-related issues.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• 2-4 years of experience in tax law.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Any relevant tax certifications are a plus.
