A law firm seeks a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney for their San Francisco, CA office.

Job Overview: The Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of complex class action and commercial litigation matters. The role involves providing high-quality legal services to clients, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and participating in all phases of litigation.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience managing multi-matter dockets.
  • Strong experience with class action defense and complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
  • Previous federal clerkship preferred.
  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
