Job Overview: A prestigious law firm based in Frederick, MD, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney to provide legal counsel and ensure regulatory compliance for a wide range of healthcare providers and related entities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising clients on federal and state healthcare laws, conducting audits, and managing compliance issues.

Duties:

  • Offer expert regulatory advice to healthcare providers and specialty practices.
  • Ensure clients' compliance with federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Advise on healthcare transactions and manage compliance audits and investigations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on multidisciplinary cases.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies such as HHS, CMS, and state healthcare authorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage healthcare compliance, risk management, and regulatory audits.
  • Experience working with healthcare regulatory bodies such as HHS, CMS, and state healthcare agencies.
  • Strong background in advising healthcare providers on legal and regulatory matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing with the Bar.
