A law firm in Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should possess relevant industry affiliations and excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills. Labor and employment experience is considered a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting eDiscovery activities, including data collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Collaborating with legal teams to develop and implement eDiscovery strategies tailored to specific cases.
  • Managing and overseeing the entire eDiscovery process, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Utilizing eDiscovery software and technology to analyze, organize, and present electronic evidence.
  • Providing expert advice on eDiscovery matters, staying informed about industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests related to eDiscovery matters.
  • Representing the law firm in court during eDiscovery-related hearings and proceedings.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction (Nevada State Bar).
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in eDiscovery within a legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery laws, rules, and procedures.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in using eDiscovery software and technology.
  • Strong counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage complex eDiscovery projects.
  • Familiarity with labor and employment law is a plus.
