A law firm in New Britain, CT is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating and settling personal injury cases, with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently and uphold the firm's high standards of client service and professionalism.

Duties:

  • Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations in personal injury matters.
  • Thoroughly review, analyze, and evaluate case information to determine legal strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with statute of limitations and notice requirements.
  • Negotiate zealously to secure fair, timely, and reasonable settlements or verdicts for clients.
  • Provide outstanding client service with a focus on professionalism and ethical practice.
  • Establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with all staff.
  • Work from the Milford location with occasional travel to other CT offices or courts.
  • Adhere to the firm’s operating procedures and management guidelines.
  • Actively practice core values, including championing others, innovation, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar in good standing.
  • Proven experience negotiating and settling plaintiff personal injury cases; trial experience is a plus.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people.
  • Proven capacity to work efficiently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance independent work with collaboration with others.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
