A law firm seeks a Finance Associate to join its business finance and healthcare practice group in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time, partnership-track position is designed for an experienced attorney with a robust background in finance transactions, particularly in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Manage a variety of finance transactions, focusing on Article 9 of the UCC, syndicated lending, and middle market lending transactions.
  • Represent both lenders and borrowers in transactional matters and workouts.
  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of transactional documentation and oversee the closing process.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support financial transactions and client needs.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in finance law, with a focus on relevant transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven track record in analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Membership in the Georgia Bar is preferred; however, it is required within one year of joining the firm.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the bar of the relevant jurisdiction (Georgia preferred).
