Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Burlington, VT, is actively seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the firm's litigation practice, engaging in diverse and challenging cases. This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions from the outset, including drafting legal documents, arguing in court, taking depositions, and leading client discussions.

Duties:

• Drafting complaints, motions, and other legal documents.
• Arguing cases in court and presenting persuasive oral arguments.
• Conducting and defending depositions.
• Leading discussions and consultations with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice.
• Researching and analyzing legal issues to support litigation strategies.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys on case strategy and preparation.
• Managing caseload and ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Outstanding academic credentials.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in Vermont or eligibility for reciprocity.
