Estate Planning and Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and skilled Estate Planning and Tax Associate Attorney to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on estate planning and tax-related matters, offering the opportunity to work with complex legal issues in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, advising clients on their estate planning needs, and providing legal insights into various tax and trust matters.

Duties

• Draft a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding estate planning, tax implications, and asset protection strategies.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on estate planning and tax law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop comprehensive legal strategies for clients.
• Represent clients in various matters related to trusts, estates, and tax planning.
• Attend client meetings and ensure clear communication regarding legal options and steps in the planning process.
• Keep detailed and organized records of client meetings, documents, and case progress.

Requirements

• Experience in estate planning, particularly with complex irrevocable trusts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work independently.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well within a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar (or eligibility to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
