Duties

• Handle a caseload of personal injury defense litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings.
• Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case handling.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and explain case progress.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate while safeguarding clients' best interests.
• Maintain detailed and organized case files, adhering to all applicable deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on defense work.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and achieving favorable outcomes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar Association.
