Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including mediation, arbitration, and lawsuits in State and Federal courts
  • Manage cases from client consultations through final resolution with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with corporate, real estate, and probate attorneys on multi-disciplinary issues
  • Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and court representatives to provide effective case management
  • Maintain clear communication with team members, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative approach to case handling

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation
  • Active Michigan law license or eligibility for licensing in Michigan
  • Proven track record in managing litigation matters independently or with minimal oversight
  • Experience or willingness to work with corporate and real estate attorneys on complex dispute resolutions

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan or ability to obtain licensure upon hiring
