Associate Attorney for Mission Viejo office

A law firm seeks experienced associate attorneys with a minimum of five years of practice in general civil litigation and/or family law. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of general civil litigation and/or family law matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with clients and senior attorneys.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements in both civil litigation and family law cases.
• Provide clients with clear legal counsel and guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience in general civil litigation and/or family law.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle a full caseload.
• Motivated, self-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California, in good standing.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
