Associate Attorney Family Law

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in Charlotte, NC. Duties

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and client needs.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, memoranda, and briefs.
• Manage all aspects of casework, ensuring clients receive personal attention throughout every stage of the process.
• Maintain consistent client communication to address questions, provide updates, and ensure confidence in legal strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and execute legal solutions.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet objectives without close supervision.

Requirements

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (active and in good standing).
• At least 1-2 years of experience practicing law, with a preference for family law.
• Strong interpersonal and oral advocacy skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
• Exceptional legal writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
