The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions involving public companies, focusing on both sell-side and buy-side transactions. This role demands exceptional academic credentials, significant law firm experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on M&A transactions involving public companies, including sell and buy-side transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments about M&A activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients throughout the M&A process.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends related to M&A and securities law.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including networking and contributing to firm marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and transactional law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling M&A transactions involving public companies.
  • Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations related to M&A.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
