Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Corona, CA, is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and will be able to manage diverse cases with confidence, offering strategic solutions to clients in high-stakes legal situations. This position involves direct interaction with clients, opposing counsel, and courtroom representation.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, helping them navigate complex family law matters.
• Manage and represent clients in cases involving the division of marital assets, real estate, and child custody during divorce proceedings.
• Attend and represent clients in court hearings, including mediations, pretrial conferences, and trials.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate directly with opposing counsel and court officials to negotiate and resolve cases.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other staff to ensure case management and workflow are streamlined and efficient.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.
• Proven ability to manage both plaintiff and defendant cases effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in emotionally charged situations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar membership.

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and courtroom presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with legal technology, including Clio and Mac systems (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
