This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or attorney with a foundational understanding of family law who is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, high-conflict litigation environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to support complex family law cases while contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including both litigation and negotiations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to develop case strategies and support litigation efforts.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist senior attorneys with case preparation, including trial, mediation, and deposition preparation.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate case files using legal research tools.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and address concerns.
• Collaborate with opposing counsel and ensure proper documentation for court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar and eligibility to practice law in Florida.
• Strong understanding of family law principles, including litigation and civil procedure.
• Experience in drafting legal documents and preparing for family law hearings and trials is a plus.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
