Job Overview:
A well-established multi-state law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its Missouri practice focusing on creditors' rights and real estate law. Location:

  • Woburn, MA 

Duties:

  • Handle a significant caseload within creditors' rights and real estate law.
  • Manage discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Represent clients in court and attend necessary hearings.
  • Provide appellate support and guidance.
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality legal representation and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the Missouri State Bar.
  • Licensed (or able to obtain license) to practice in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply; 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to manage a large volume of cases in creditors' rights.
  • Familiarity with discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on team collaboration and mentoring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as required for court appearances.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
