A well-established law firm in Columbus, SC, seeks an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney. This role involves handling all aspects of litigation, from client consultations to trial representation, ensuring clients receive top-tier legal counsel and favorable case outcomes. Duties:

  • Conduct legal consultations with clients to assess case viability and provide guidance.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies, including pre-trial preparation and court proceedings.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies regarding claims and settlements.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Engage in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary.
  • Maintain regular client communication to provide case updates and guidance.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience.
  • Proven first-chair trial experience.
  • Ability to evaluate claims and develop case strategies effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a results-driven approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • An active member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
