Duties

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation-related documents

• Conduct legal research to support case development and argumentation

• Represent clients in court for motion practice, hearings, and trials

• Develop and implement litigation strategies in real estate, foreclosure defense, and landlord-tenant cases

• Maintain client communication throughout the litigation process

• Coordinate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure case efficiency

• Manage deadlines, court calendars, and documentation in an organized and timely manner

Requirements

• Litigation experience preferred

• Experience in foreclosure defense, landlord-tenant, or real estate litigation is a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Must be willing and able to travel locally for court appearances

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York

• Member in good standing with the New York State Bar
