Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A respected national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate for its San Francisco office to join a team focused on representing financial services clients in complex litigation. This role involves managing various financial services litigation matters, including class actions, consumer claims, and high-stakes cases. The position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a national practice, develop litigation expertise, and gain industry-specific knowledge in financial services.

Duties

• Assist with all aspects of litigation for financial services clients, including case preparation, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
• Represent clients in complex litigation matters such as Ponzi scheme litigation, class actions, and significant consumer claims
• Conduct legal research, draft briefs, and manage case documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members across multiple offices on litigation strategy and case management
• Develop skills in client relationship management and litigation procedures

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of general litigation experience, with preference for experience in financial services litigation
• Court experience and prior judicial clerkship are advantageous
• Strong writing and research abilities
• Admission to the California Bar

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California
