Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its estate planning and probate practice in Chapel Hill, NC. The successful candidate will work alongside senior attorneys to create tailored estate plans, provide expert legal advice, and represent clients in probate and trust administration. Duties:

  • Analyze and interpret legal rulings and regulations to guide estate planning strategies.
  • Assist clients through the probate process, including preparing court documents and representing them in probate court.
  • Administer trusts and provide clients with guidance throughout the trust administration process.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering clear, comprehensive legal advice and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the firm.
  • Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration (preferred).
