Duties:

  • Handle immigration cases, including deportation defense, family reunification, and other immigration-related matters.
  • Represent clients before the Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
  • Provide legal advice and prepare necessary documentation for immigration petitions and applications.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys in the office to provide high-quality client service.
  • Travel to other office locations or immigration courts as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and procedures.
  • Assist clients in navigating the complexities of immigration processes with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Bar license in good standing (required).
  • Spanish language proficiency (preferred).
  • Strong passion for immigration law and helping vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to Denver or Centennial for court and USCIS appointments.
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Personable, patient, and professional demeanor.
  • New law graduates and those with limited immigration law experience are encouraged to apply.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the state of Colorado (required).
