Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defend personal injury cases and civil litigation matters on behalf of clients.
  • Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
  • Review and analyze medical records and other evidence related to cases.
  • Prepare for and participate in court appearances, including hearings and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and provide detailed analysis of case issues.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and prepare case strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and ensure adequate representation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury defense or civil litigation.
  • Proven experience with drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motions.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and analyze medical records.
  • Experience with court preparation and appearances.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
