An established law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Estate Planning Attorney to join its team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Duties

  • Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, and related documents using firm templates and software.
  • Conduct client consultations to review estate planning documents and provide feedback.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
  • Participate in community engagements, such as serving on boards or committees, to represent the firm.
  • Collaborate with team members to confirm the accuracy of legal documents prepared by staff.
  • Organize and manage client files to facilitate smooth progression through the legal process.
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff, ensuring effective teamwork and client service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an estate planning or elder law-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail in managing client cases and drafting documents.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • LLM in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of tax codes as they pertain to estate planning.
