Job Overview
A law firm is seeking a Regulatory Investigations, Strategy, and Enforcement Associate Attorney to join its Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in state and federal regulatory litigation, including experience with consumer class litigation and administrative litigation. This role will involve handling complex matters ranging from litigation with federal regulatory agencies to challenges against state Attorneys General and the Administrative Procedure Act.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate cases involving federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Represent clients in consumer class action litigation and administrative proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies and opposing counsel regarding case developments.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Stay current on changes in regulatory law and trends affecting the practice area.
  • Mentor junior associates and guide them on regulatory matters.
  • Engage in business development activities to enhance the firm's practice.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 3-6 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in regulatory matters.
  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of federal court practice and procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Skills
