The ideal candidate will have a robust background in personal injury law, exceptional litigation skills, and a proven ability to manage complex cases effectively. This role demands a proactive attorney with strong client management capabilities and a high level of courtroom competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss case details, provide legal advice, and manage client expectations.
  • Handle motion work, including drafting, filing, and arguing motions in court.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including gathering evidence, preparing documentation, and analyzing case materials.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring thorough preparation and effective representation.
  • Participate in mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes favorably.
  • Represent clients in court, preparing and presenting compelling cases to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and execute legal strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • State Bar certification in Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law (10+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated stellar client interface skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of aggression and advocacy on behalf of clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proven negotiation and trial skills.
