Duties:

  • Handle assigned casework, preparing and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Provide clear and empathetic guidance to clients throughout the estate planning process.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on elder law-related matters.
  • Ensure timely and efficient progress of cases in coordination with the legal team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of legal experience, preferably in estate planning or elder law.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency with legal technology, including document management and research tools.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to communicate effectively with seniors and emotional clients.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Familiarity with estate tax planning is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:
