A law firm seeks a skilled and dynamic Case Management Attorney to join their team in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple mass tort dockets and leading the case management team, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing mass tort claims from inception to resolution.

Duties:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of mass tort cases, ensuring effective progression from start to finish.
  • Foster a positive team culture by mentoring junior attorneys and support staff, promoting accountability and ownership.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement case strategies, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support the development of cases and practice areas.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably within a medium to large law firm focused on plaintiffs' mass torts.
  • Proven experience in managing paralegals and/or legal assistants.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quick learner, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem solver who takes initiative and works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in various computer applications and online programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal research tools such as LexisNexis (LexisXpress, LexisAdvance) and ECF/Pacer.
  • Experience with client management databases like Needles/Neos.
