Job Overview

A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid personal injury law background and excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. This role involves conducting thorough legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including EUO (Examination Under Oath) and 50H hearings.
  • Argue motions and make court appearances for conferences, motions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys to develop effective strategies for file handling and negotiations.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients by applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
  • Prior experience in personal injury law is advantageous.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is a plus.
