Job Overview:

A leading law firm in New York City seeks a skilled Associate Attorney with experience in employment litigation. This role involves representing clients in various employment-related matters, defending lawsuits, and participating in administrative proceedings. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, provide strategic legal counsel, and represent them in hearings, mediations, depositions, and more.

Duties:

• Defend employment litigation cases, including single-plaintiff lawsuits.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Assist clients in navigating administrative matters related to employment law.
• Provide strategic legal advice and consultation to clients on various employment-related matters.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, and responses.
• Stay up to date with changes in employment law at the state and federal levels.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on employment law.
• Active New York and/or New Jersey Bar admission.
• Familiarity with current court and employment-related agency procedures (both state and federal).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases.
