Job Overview:
An internationally recognized law firm is seeking a motivated and well-qualified associate to join its Employment & Labor practice in the St. Louis office. This mid-level opportunity is ideal for an attorney with four to five years of experience in employment litigation, workplace policy advisory, and client counseling. The position provides a high level of responsibility within a collaborative and well-established legal team.

Location:

  • St. Louis, MO

Duties:

  • Defend employers in individual and class/collective employment-related litigation

  • Take and defend depositions, manage written discovery, draft and argue motions

  • Handle overall case management responsibilities

  • Draft and review workplace policies, employee handbooks, and internal practices

  • Provide legal counsel to employers with operations across the U.S. and internationally

  • Engage directly with clients and collaborate with colleagues across offices

Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of experience in employment law litigation

  • Background in class and collective wage and hour litigation preferred but not required

  • Experience managing complex litigation processes

  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under deadline

  • Strong client service orientation and ability to take initiative

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Solid academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Missouri or eligibility to waive in
