Job Description

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of divorce cases from initiation to finalization
  • Draft legal documents and conduct discovery
  • Attend mediation sessions and represent clients at trial
  • Manage clients’ cases and develop expert legal strategies
  • Provide legal support in cases involving spousal support, child support, and child custody
  • Address legal issues related to child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence
  • Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Experience in divorce law
  • Empathetic nature and strong interpersonal skills
  • Licensed by the State Bar of Texas

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent negotiation and litigation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
