Location:

Duties:

  • Prosecute trademark applications for global technology clients
  • Provide trademark clearance and prepare legal opinions
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals on trademark matters
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trademark law developments
  • Assist with litigation, including district court and TTAB matters (preferred, not required)

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of trademark prosecution experience
  • Strong technical writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills and a responsive, positive attitude
  • Litigation experience, including district court and TTAB matters, is a plus
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in a state bar (preferably Virginia or the DC area)

Skills:

  • Expertise in trademark prosecution and intellectual property law
  • Excellent technical writing and legal analysis
