Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid To Senior-Level Gaming Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess extensive gaming law experience and be admitted to the New York Bar. This role involves supporting litigation and regulatory matters for gaming industry clients, encompassing consumer class action, gambling loss recovery actions, mass arbitrations, and state Attorney General and Gambling Commission actions and investigations.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to gaming industry clients in litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in managing complex litigation cases, including consumer class and gambling loss recovery actions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to gaming law and regulatory issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop legal strategies and achieve client objectives.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Keep abreast of developments in gaming law and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Experience practicing law, with a focus on gaming law preferred.
  • Proven experience handling complex litigation matters, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal gaming laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
