Immigration Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a passionate and experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Santa Ana, CA. Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and develop strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Draft, prepare, and file petitions, applications, and supporting legal documentation.
• Stay informed about updates and changes in U.S. immigration laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Clio or similar case management software is a plus.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client-focused service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (required).

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, procedures, and case strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and legal representation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and a busy caseload effectively.
