Business Litigation Attorney

A law firm in San Diego is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to handle complex litigation matters encompassing business disputes, employment defense, and real estate law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of complex business litigation, employment defense, and real estate law matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with attention to detail and legal accuracy.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings when necessary.
• Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients on litigation strategies and potential outcomes, integrating a business-oriented perspective.
• Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements in all aspects of practice.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of California.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business litigation, with a strong preference for experience in employment defense and real estate law.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and persuasive advocacy.
• Proven negotiation abilities and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
