Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Real Estate Attorney to manage all aspects of residential real estate closings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in handling real estate transactions, reviewing title work, drafting contracts and conveyance documents, and effectively communicating with all transaction parties. This role also offers an opportunity for growth in commercial transactions, community formations, land development matters, and commercial lending.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate residential real estate closings from start to finish.
  • Review and analyze title work to ensure accuracy and address any issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and conveyance documents.
  • Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved.
  • Provide legal advice on real estate matters and resolve any legal issues.
  • Stay current with changes in real estate law and regulations.
  • Assist with commercial real estate transactions, community formations, land development, and commercial lending as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of transactions and legal documents.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar (GA Bar).
  • Previous experience in real estate or finance is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar (GA Bar).
