The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be a vital member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Responsibilities will include navigating complex commercial litigation processes, conducting factual investigations, and ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation matters and develop case strategies.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a strong emphasis on detail and clarity.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, advocating effectively on their behalf.
• Manage a diverse caseload while prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Engage in strategic discussions and case planning to enhance litigation outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, demonstrating an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage law or related litigation.
• Proven ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients in a professional manner.
• Capacity to work independently and productively, demonstrating strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
